We undertake the responsibility to improve the student's ability to strike the golf ball in a more orderly fashion, easier & more consistently, to its intended target. This applies to all aspects of play including the long game, short game, woods, irons, chipping and putting. All the while we promote general health, fitness and fun in our lessons.

Attila Becsy

A Short Biography 
of the founder of Balanced Motion School of Golf

Attila Becsy was born in Budapest, Hungary. Always interested in sports, Attila was active in track and field, soccer and became a top swimmer in his homeland.

In 1957, he moved to Canada and soon started as a caddy at Oakdale Golf and Country Club in Downsview, where he met the late George Knudson, one of Canada's most renowned player/teachers who was Attila’s most influential mentor.

Starting in 1958, Attila played as an amateur in numerous Ontario golf tournaments until he turned professional in 1972. Since then, he has been a devoted teacher of golf, committed to a very high standard. He has worked with some of the best teachers in the world, such as the late George Knudson and Moe Norman, as well as Gordon McInnis Sr., Paul Bertholy, and John White.

In 1988, Attila moved to Jamaica where he spent 12 years as Director of Golf at the Ironshore Golf and Country Club and the Half Moon Golf Club. There he taught golfers from all over the globe including the late Prince Rainier of Monaco, former Prime Minister, Jean Chrétien and Stephen R. Bronfman.
Returning to Canada in 2001, Attila established a unique Golf School at the White Oaks Golf Club in Oakville, now in its sixth year of operation. Attila's school is recognized for introducing new players of all ages to the Game of Golf and helping them reach their full potential. Attila’s programs not only help to develop the skills needed to perform the required shots, but also to guide the development of the physical and mental fitness essential to achieve them.

Attila specializes in an Elite program for Corporate Executives, as well as, students who are interested in tournament competition, and junior golfers aiming to obtain golf scholarships.
